The arts are an essential part of our cultural identity. They contribute to our cities’ vitality and renown as they enrich the lives of both individuals and communities. Unfortunately, many professional arts organizations operate with insufficient funds, and must turn to the private sector and to individual donors for help in pursuing their mandates of excellence.

Such is the case for L'École de danse de Québec, whose fundraising initiatives focus on its Scholarship Fund. Since the inception of the fund in 1994, the school has been providing partial or full scholarships to gifted young dancers who qualify for the Accès-Danse or Danse-Études programs, and whose parents are unable to meet the added financial responsibility. Over the years, the school’s fundraising efforts have helped secure the funds which have turned young dancers' dreams into reality.

L’École de danse de Québec is the only professional dance training institution of its kind in Eastern Quebec. Your generous donation not only makes it possible for talented young dancers to achieve their goals, but also contributes to the emergence of professional performing artists and to public awareness of and appreciation for the art of dance.
